It was gluten-free and vegetarian sushi roll class with guests from Australia today.
Soy sauce contains wheat so Japanese meals which often use soy sauce are not really friendly to those who require gluten-free meals. Since they got to Japan, they have been eating nuts, fruits and some cheese and today's lunch was almost the first meal that they can call "meal" ! We used gluten-free everything today and they were very happy to have gluten-free authentic Japanese meal that they can eat without worrying about what's in it :-) I am so honored that I could be of some help !
Thank you so much for joining the class today. I've never done gluten-free dish until today and it was a challenge for me but I am so glad you liked the dishes ! Please do replicate those back home and send me some pictures of your sushi rolls ;-)
