It was tempura class with 3 guests, 2 from Paris and 1 from Indonesia yesterday.
They were all very much engaged, one taking memo in detail, one filming with the camera attached to his head (smart !) and one filming with his iPhone ! One of many things I liked about them was that they asked many questions. They wanted to know what kind of alternative ingredients they can use and the reason behind certain procedure I showed. I could expect them to re-create what they've learned back home !
They seemed a little bit nervous at first but by the time we ate our creation, all relaxed and we talked a lot about things in respective countries. It was interesting to know the price to eat out in Paris is three times expensive than the one in Tokyo, and contrarily, one third in Indonesia.
All the dishes we cooked were very delicious. Good work, everyone !
Thank you for joining the class and I hope our paths cross again some day ! Safe trip back to your home :)
