Last weekend, I did a rehearsal for our new plan "Cook It Tokyo". It's a collaboration plan with The Backstreet Guides in which you will be doing a cooking class in the morning and guided tour around Ueno/Ginza area in the afternoon.
I am doing not only the cooking session but also the tour session !
I am telling you, this is a GREAT plan to spend a day in Tokyo ! Here are some photos from the tour route. You will get to know about Japanese food, food culture, a little bit of history and also about the area in just one day. Basic info and interesting trivia about the spots we are stopping by will deepen your insights into Japan for sure ! So many to tell you and I can't wait to share them all with you !! You will be a connoisseur of Japan by the end of the day !
"Cook It Tokyo" is available on Wednesdays and Sundays and you can book the plan through the The Backstreet Guides' website here. The menu for Wednesday is tempura and mosaic sushi rolls for Sundays.
Many of my guests said they should have done a cooking class at early stage of their trip. I totally agree as you probably won't have a chance to TALK with the local (me this case !) and ask questions without joining this sort of activity.
