Gyudon (large rice bowl topped with sweet-salty beef and onion) class with guests from Ottawa today. My guests really vary from beginners to experienced and today's guests are experienced ones. They are interested in Japanese seasonings and it seemed they enjoyed not only the cooking session but also the briefing about Japanese seasonings I gave at the beginning of the class. Now, they know how to make miso soup properly and how to use a container of miso up within the expire date. I'm sure they will enjoy making Japanese dishes back home !
