I had guests from Australia to cook tempura soba - soba in hot soup topped with tempura, the menu they've requested.
Tempura soba (not from scratch) is a simple dish but it's difficult in a way as you need to finish cooking everything at once to enjoy everything hot. Soba has to be hot, soup has to be hot and tempura has to be hot too ! We managed to succeed to do that and had hot soba which was a perfect dish for a cold day like today :-)
