I had this lovely couple from Canada today and they learnt how to make okonomiyaki. They thought okonomiyaki is durable only on a large table top grill so they were very happy to learn how to do it with a normal skillet. They also liked my regular two very easy side dishes and I'm sure they will replicate all the dishes back in Canada !
One note I would like to make. Today is their last day in Japan and they really regret that they didn't do this at early stage of their itinerary. They told me they could have enjoyed their time in Japan even more if they did. So if you have a plan to come to Japan, I'm telling you, take a cooking class ! It doesn't have to be mine. There are several English speaking classes. Just do it and you won't regret.
