Okonomiyaki class with father and daughter from the US today ! They told me they barely cook at home but after cooking the dishes, they found all the dishes are easy enough to replicate !
On another note, he was telling me about a drive to southern Japan he took years ago and the description of the scenery he saw on the way sounded very familiar to me. I asked the details and it turned out he was at my hometown, which is middle of nowhere where you don't see any foreign travelers ! He was only e few kilometers away from me back then and in my kitchen today. What a small world !
