COOK IT TOKYO with guests from the US !
This was a special class for me as we had TV crews filming them in the kitchen ! I was soooooo nervous at the beginning but thanks to the super nice, super cheerful guests, I almost forgot about the camera and found myself enjoining the entire class !
They really liked the briefing session I always have before we get to the cooking session in which I explain a bit about Japanese food, Japanese seasonings and the table manner. I am so glad they liked this part as I believe knowing concept of a certain cuisine not only the technique really deepen insights into the cuisine.
The main dish was tempura and they did great job cooking light and crispy tempura :-) And 2 simple side dishes were good as always and we all enjoyed our lunch and the conversation while we ate.
The tour part afternoon was also so much fun. The weather was nice and it was just a perfect way to walk off our lunch ;)
