It was "gyudon" - rice bowl topped with beef class today with guests from Okinawa, Japan and Korea.
Gyudon is so easy to make and there is not much hands-on I could ask them to do, so I chose tamagoyaki - Japanese omelette which involves much hands-on for a side dish. They did great job even though it was the first time for them to make it !! I taught them how to fix out-of-shape tamagoyaki, but I'm sure they won't need it when they make it back home ;)
They were impressed by all the kitchen tools I use in TOKYO KITCHEN. Maybe I should open Yoshimi's select kitchen tool shop some day !
We talked, laughed, talked, laughed, talked and laughed while we ate our creation and it was such a fun moment. Great food with great people just gives me energy to carry on.
