The first class in March was COOK IT TOKYO sushi roll class with guests from the US and Germany.
It was rainy and freezing day so the cooking class was a perfect escape from the weather. Everyone was very eager to learn about Japanese cuisine, especially the one from Germany who owns tofu shop back in his country, and I had many questions about Japanese food culture, ingredients and seasonings. Having different nationalities in one room, we chatted about differences between countries and regions which was very interesting.
After the cooking session, we went out for the tour session. The weather wasn't perfect to do the tour but I believe it was a great opportunity for them to deepen their insight into Japanese food culture.
Thank you for coming all the way to my kitchen despite the bad weather ! I had so much fun having you all and really enjoyed cooking with you. Your sushi rolled looked lovely, well done everyone !
